The text within these tags are displayed in bold face
<I></I>
The text within these tags are displayed in italic face

The text within these tags are displayed underlined face
<H1></H1>
Heading tags H1 to H6 display their text in very large to very small print
<HR>
Inserts a Horizontal Rule into the page
<IMG>
Inserts an image at the current location
<A></A>
Causes the text within these tags to be "Hyperlinks" to other web pages. Clicking on the text will take you to the page specified
<FONT></FONT>
Allows you to specify the (platform specific) font that will be used to display the text
<P>
Start a new paragraph.
<BR>
Insert a line break (generally the same as starting a new paragraph)
<UL><LI>...<LI></UL>
Unordered list. Creates a list of items which are highlighted by a bullet with every <LI> tag
<OL><LI>...<LI></OL>
Ordered list. Creates a list of items which are highlighted by a number with every <LI> tag
<CENTER></CENTER>
Aligns the text to the center of the browser window.
<TABLE>
Starts a new table. Table must contain Rows, and Rows must contain Data Cells in order for the table to appear
<TR>
Table Row. A Table Row must be contained with a Table.
<TD>
Table Data cell. A Table Data cell must be contained within a Table Row
<TH>
Table Header cell. Just like <TD>, but all text in the cell is made bold
